EAST CALHOUN

Feb. 24, between 8 a.m. and 3:20 p.m., 3148 Irving Ave. S.

An unknown suspect broke into a home by smashing a back-door window and unlocking the door. The suspect stole some jewelry from an upstairs bedroom and ate a banana in the kitchen. The banana peel was found on the kitchen floor. No suspect information was available.

EAST HARRIET

Between 5 p.m. Feb. 26 and 6:45 a.m. Feb. 27, 813 W. 36 St.

An unknown suspect broke into Our Kitchen through the rear door and took cash and industrial appliances. Police found no collectible evidence at the scene.

EAST ISLES

Feb. 26, between 5:20 p.m. and 5:40 p.m., West 25th Street and Lake Place

After a walk around Lake of the Isles, a woman returned to her parked car to find the rear passenger window smashed and her purse, containing four credit cards, gone. A total of $2,453 had been charged at Macy’s in Edina before the cards were cancelled.

FULTON


Between 11 p.m. Feb. 25 and 6 a.m. Feb. 26, 4701 Drew Ave. S.
A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway.

KINGFIELD

+ Feb. 25, 4:10 a.m., 37th Street West and Pillsbury Avenue South
Two unknown suspects pulled a man out of his parked vehicle while he was on his cell phone and drove away with it. The man was physically unharmed.

LINDEN HILLS

Feb. 26, 12:15 p.m., 3915 Drew Ave. S.
A man forced his way into an unlocked home while its occupants were inside. Police apprehended the man in the backyard.

+ March 1, 4:45 p.m., 3701 Lyndale Ave. S.
A suspect entered Colonial Cleaners, sprayed the owner with Mace and took the cash register drawer. The suspect was gone by the time police arrived.

LOWRY HILL EAST

Feb. 25, 1:45 p.m., 1450 W. Lake St.
Police were dispatched to Lunds on a report of a shoplifter with drug paraphernalia. Police issued the suspect a citation for theft and confiscated injection equipment.

+ Feb. 26, 5:30 p.m., 720 W. Lake St.
Officers dispatched on a robbery call spoke with a man who was punched in the face and robbed of his cell phone. He told officers two suspects followed him to his apartment after he stepped off the bus. They followed him inside and asked to use his phone. He was assaulted and robbed after refusing. The victim declined medical treatment. Officers requested video surveillance from the apartment.

LYNDALE

+ Feb. 27, 8:10 p.m., 3545 Nicollet Ave. S.
A man was robbed at gunpoint at a U-Haul.

WHITTIER

Feb. 27, 3:30 p.m., 2501 Lyndale Ave. S.
A suspect grabbed cash from the till at Loon Grocery and fled. Police checked the area, but the suspect was not immediately found.

+ Feb. 28., 4:35 p.m., 200 W. Lake St.
A man entered Walgreens, implied he had a gun and demanded prescription pain medications. The man was captured on video surveillance and police sent images to the community seeking help identifying him. He is a white male, 20 to 30, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches, with a light build and a “unibrow.” At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a tan or light green stocking hat and a dark jacket with a light stripe down the sleeves. Anyone with information was asked to call 673-3856.

+Feb. 28, 6:35 p.m., 2312 Blaisdell Ave. S.
A man was shot multiple times and transported in an ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center. No suspect information was immediately available. Evidence was inventoried at the scene.
